I reckon reckon is right. For example, PPG Omni MP170 epoxy primer IS a 2 part primer. That is a 1 coat not sandable PRIMER. Now if you want a filler primer on top of the epoxy primer to hide the marks, you get the MP182 surfacer primer that you sand. That is 2 part also.
